Collaboration with SUZII K

On the 19th of October I was lucky enough to collaborate with up and coming designer SUZII K. With a concept of oversized clothing with finer details, Suzi’s designs worked perfectly.

For this shoot I featured the SUZII K ‘Linen Flares’, which were showcased at MBFF this year.

SUZII K is an extremely unique Australian label which combines fashion and art, in order to create a very distinctive brand image.

Working with Suzi was a great experience as her knowledge and experience within the fashion industry brought the entire shoot to a whole new level.

We then worked together with model, Rylee Mackintosh, to create these amazing edgy, yet feminine images.

When doing collaborations it’s important to work with someone who has similar creative ideas, as well as the ability to assist in taking your creative ideas to the next level; therefore, working with SUZII K allowed this shoot and my initial inspiration to be brought to life.

Welcome to a Behind the scenes sneak peak of my first editorial photo shoot!

With the theme of ‘pattern paradise’ I decided to channel ‘Alice in Wonderland’ for some inspiration.

Thanks so much to Pigeonhole (Located in the Wintergarden, Brisbane City) for providing me with a gorgeous, one-off vintage dress for this very exciting shoot. The dress was pale blue with small white polka dots all over the dress – very ‘Alice in Wonderland’.

To create a more luxurious and mature image I collected some amazing gold jewellery from Lazurah (

My model, Brooke Madsen (@_brookeemadsen), was the perfect model for my shoot, her unique and stunning features, as well as, great modelling skills really brought my vision to life.

My make-up artist and hair stylist, Kayla Goschnick (_kaylashosch_mua_) gave my model a lovely grey toned smoky eye with a plumb red lip. Also, styling her hair in a teased, messy look.

Once on set at the Brisbane Powerhouse, the photographer and I worked together to capture the best images possible.

I am so happy with the final images and extremely excited to share them all with you!

Thanks again to photographer, Brock McFadzean (, it was an absolute pleasure working with you.

We all hate Mondays! But when you grab a coffee and dress to impress you can brighten up those Monday morning blues.

Today, I had the chance to collaborate with some of my fashion styling classmates, at the Australian Institute of Creative Design, to create our dream Monday morning style.

We decided on an edgy leather jacket as the statement piece for the stylish worker or university student – brightening their Mondays with a strong coffee and our favourite fashion bible!
